Your first appointment is a comprehensive Chinese Medicine consultation and treatment session. We begin with a detailed discussion about your current health concerns, health history and any relevant medical investigations. This is followed by a full Chinese Medicine diagnostic assessment, including pulse and tongue examination. Treatment is provided within the same session and is tailored to your presentation on the day. Acupuncture is most commonly used, and may be supported by techniques such as cupping, moxibustion, or gua sha. Where appropriate, Chinese herbal medicine may also be part of your treatment plan. If prescribed, this is always discussed with you beforehand and is an additional cost to the consultation fee.
Follow-up consultation
60 minutes — $128
Follow-up appointments are on-going treatment sessions focused on reviewing change and refining your treatment plan over time. Each session begins with a conversation about how you have been since your last treatment. From there, your treatment is adjusted based on your current presentation and will usually include acupuncture alongside any other techniques indicated on the day. Herbal medicine may be adjusted or continued as your plan evolves.
Chinese herbal medicine only—Initial consult
45 minutes — $120
This is for people seeking herbal medicine treatment only (no acupuncture).
Your first appointment includes a comprehensive Chinese medicine consultation, where we'll discuss your current health concerns, health history and any relevant medical investigations. This is followed by a Chinese medicine assessment, including pulse and tongue examination, before developing an individualised herbal prescription. Chinese herbal medicine is dispensed through an external dispensary and delivered directly to your home via express post. The cost of prescribed herbs is separate from the consultation fee.
Chinese herbal medicine only—Follow-up
30 minutes — $85
This appointment is for existing patients continuing or adjusting a herbal prescription without acupuncture. We review your current prescription, response to treatment and any relevant changes since your last consultation. Your herbal formula is then refined accordingly.
